The analysis
the analysis for emission of CO2, referring directly to the organization of PCB Connect, started with a breakdown of the supply chain in order for us to see how we should plan our work.
In 2009 we started to create conditions and collect information in order to be able to proceed with these calculations.
- Below we specify those parts which have been included in our calculations so far: Transportation from supplier to PCB Connect Warehouse in Sweden and China
- Transportations from supplier directly to customer
- Transportations from warehouses in China and Sweden to customer site.
- Employees travels between home and work
- PCB Connect Business travels
Left for investigation is following sections:
- PCB Connect office (will be included during 2010)
- Production of raw material (we are looking for ways to calculate this in a good way)
- Production of PCB in factory (we are analyzing methods to calculate this)
- PCB Connect waste (will be investigated during 2010)
- Visitors travels (this we will not include as the situation is now, both because it is not significant and because it is out of our range to affect)
